Working Mules

A tired and older Mule meanders around the Mule Corral.

"What is a Mule?".

It is a cross breed between a donkey and a horse. It is an impotent animal i.e. it cannot reproduce. It is a cross breed between a male horse and female donkey. It is a Beast of Burden(to carry heavy loads). It is a strong animal, thus carry me down the Canyon job opens up for these work "horses".

I wanted to highlight the one moving Mule and show human appreciation for their their tireless and endless job. You should see how close they come to the mountain edges. Better than a 4X4 vehicle.

Location: South Rim, Grand Canyon, AZ.
